Here is a very simple shadow effect. It’s quick to create too. See steps below
Step 1
Create your text on a background.
Step 2
Duplicate the text + background
Step 3
Select the duplicated objects and click/apply ‘trim’ (see image below)
Step 4
Apply shadow on the trimmed object, use the ‘flat preset’ then select ‘break shadow apart’.
Step 5
Select the shadow (the one you just broke apart) and place inside the text (remember you had duplicated the objects) Adjust the shadow where applicable.
