Hello, I haven’t posted in a while, been working on a stock photography website that will be a resource for graphic designers, bloggers etc. As soon as it’s ready I’d share. So I’ve gathered a list of a few websites I visit regularly for graphic design resource – images, vectors, themes etc. See below:
1. Envato
I visit this site almost everyday for vector files, images and off course themes. The content is premium and affordable, their customer service is great too. Envato also offers opportunities for graphic designers and web developers to become authors and sell their work.
Envato is an ecosystem of sites to help you get creative. It includes Envato Market, the leading marketplace for images, themes, project files and creative assets. Envato Studioconnects clients with hand-picked freelance talent, and Tuts+is home to thousands of tutorials and video courses. Our sites and services help millions of people around the world.
2. Canva
This is an online graphic design creation website. I visit this website when I need to create something quick and I’m not at my workstation. There are different size templates for different platforms like already sized banners for facebook, twitter etc and it’s a drag and drop application. The banner above was created on canva.com
Canva gives you everything you need to easily turn ideas into stunning designs. Create designs for Web or print: blog graphics, presentations, Facebook covers, flyers, posters, invitations and so much more.
As the mane implies, it’s a marketplace to buy contents for design – vectors, illustrations, photos, graphics and themes. If you are interested in selling your work you can also open a shop too. You can also join to download some free stuff.
4. Medialoot
Medialoot is a collection of premium design resources that help make your apps, themes, and other designs look more polished and professional in less time. The site was started by Mason Hipp and Jon Phillips, who being designers themselves, were frustrated with being nickeled-and-dimed for every single icon or button they purchased on a design marketplace. Medialoot solves that problem by being an “ultimate design toolbox” where all of the best and most-used resources are available.
These are a just few of the graphic design resource/marketplace I know of and thought to share
