Oh gosh! It’s been about 20 days since my last post!! So I was asked to check out a free online logo design service recently that allows you create logos for free – DesignEvo; it’s a service with a vast in-built database, offering millions of high quality icons and hundreds of stylish fonts for selection. Even if you are a design novice, you can also create logos with no difficulty. This would be a tool/resource graphic design need and it allows you create logo’s in minutes. I tried it out and here’s my experience.

There’s quite a number of icons you can search through, just type in what you need in the search bar and it pull’s up icons in that category, my search query was ‘craft’.
The menu bar offers options to edit the icons and shapes. You can add text too – the font’s are categorised from bold, modern (sans), traditional (serif), hand writing and funny making it easy to make a choice.
And for colours, you have solid and gradient options
The part I quite liked was the mockup preview of how your logo will look on print material, website, on a t-shirt and on a wall space.
When I was done with my logo design, I downloaded and got 2 file options – png, jpeg in a zip file
Overall I don’t see myself using this service so often but definitely for those moments when I need to create a logo quick, I’d say DesignEvo is a free quick service logo solution. Check it out and let me have your thought’s.
